16 Weeks

Emma you are 16 weeks old!

(on August 17)

This week you:

~went to the pool for the first time! Our neighborhood pool has a shaded kiddie pool that's only 1.5 feet deep. You loved just staring at the water. You were perfectly content sitting in the water with Momma for a good 20 minutes. We'll definitely be going back!

~are purposely playing with toys. Cousin Anthony let you borrow alot of his toys and your favorite is an animal one that spins around and lights up with animal sounds. You will purposely turn it and grab the animals to activate them.

~had your first day of school! Momma cried so much, but you did great! You also did your first artwork!

~got your first miniature! When Momma was little she collected miniatures and now you can start your collection! Your first one is a Smurfette miniature from McDonalds. Nanis searched for it just for you!

~are starting to connect your laughs and it's the cutest thing I've ever heard!

~are starting to scrunch your face at random times, like in your weekly picture. I think it's so cute each time you do it!

~are giving kisses! When we make kissy lips and sounds to you you'll open your mouth for big slobbery kisses that we can't get enough of!

~light up our lives!
