14 Weeks

Emma you are 14 weeks old!

(on August 3)

This week you:

~spent your first night away from home. We went to spend the night in Lake Jackson so we could go to the Mosquito Festival to see Pat Green. It looked like we were moving in for a month with as much stuff as we took! We had your co-sleeper, Bumbo, toys, diaper bag, overnight bag, breast pump and our bags! We didn't get much sleep, but overall you did great!

~have enough hair to wear a tiny pig tail! It looks more like your hair sticking straight up in the middle of your head with a tiny bow in it, but I think you look super cute!

~officially know your name! One night you just started looking up at your Daddy everytime he called your name and now you'll do it all the time (unless you're distracted by your hand or something more interesting.)

~are purposely grabbing things and also taking them to your mouth.

~had another babysitter, your Nana! Both Mommy and Daddy had to work, so she was able to come and watch you.

~are starting to have favorite toys. So far you seem to really like your crinkly book and the rings that hang from your play mat. Whenever you sit in your Bumbo you're constantly knocking the toys off the tray.

~have brought so much joy into our lives!
