47 Weeks

Emma you are 47 weeks old!

(on March 21)

This week:

~you are officially crawling as of March 15th!!!  You crawled across the living room and into the kitchen all on hands and knees without going to your belly.  We're so proud of you!

~we went to Brenham to meet everyone at the Blue Bell Creamery.  For some reason they don't do tours on the weekends, but we were still able to enjoy some ice cream!

~I was determined to get bluebonnet pictures.  It's a tradition that I wanted to do with you, so of course we couldn't miss the first year!  This was in downtown Brenham, but I have an upcoming post about the REAL bluebonnet pictures!

~you started having a grand ol' time in the bathtub.  You will turn yourself in circles and continue to splash like never before.

you were both blowing kisses

~you started using a straw on the 19th!  It should be no surprise that your Daddy taught you, but I was really surprised at how quickly you got it.  It literally took you all of 5 seconds to learn!  When I first gave you the cup you just put your mouth on the straw and then just kind of licked it.  After that your Daddy pretended to put it to his mouth and exaggerated sucking in and then you did this.......

~you started cruising some along your activity table and around the ottoman.  It's by no means fast, but it's still cruising!



such a proud daddy!

~you discovered your shadow one afternoon!  We couldn't help but laugh because you were touching it and moving all around!

~you started to share the love with the dogs and will crawl to them open-mouthed, ready for a kiss!  Boomer doesn't partake in your kisses, but unfortanetly Koda is all about them and happily kisses in return.  Yuck!
