36 Weeks

Emma you are 36 weeks old!

(on January 4th)

This week:

~you started feeding yourself really well with your fingers. You've been able to do puffs and all that, but now you really want to try actual finger foods.

~you started waving some! Sometimes it's right on cue and deliberate and other times it's sporadic.

~you had your first major choking episode. Scary! I actually didn't know it happened because it was during the rehearsal for Tia LuLu's wedding. You were sitting with Nanis and Anthony while Anthony was eating some peppermint. He was being sweet and shared with you, but unfortanetly no one knew that he was sharing with you! They were able to get it out (because it was such a big chunk!) and everything was fine.

~speaking of Tia LuLu's wedding, you participated in your first one as a flower baby!

You did so good! You were such a party animal throughout the whole thing and you didn't cry once! Everyone danced with you and you stayed up WAY past your bedtime! When the music finally stopped you crashed hard in cousin Lauren's arms.

~you had your biggest blowout yet! Like straight to the bathtub, clothes and all! Thank goodness your Daddy hadn't left to go fishing yet and he was able to help because it was major!

~you've been pulling to stand from a sitting position in my lap.

~we went to the park for the first time to go swinging! We didn't get to stay long because of crazy mosquitos, but I think it's safe to say you loved it!

~I love seeing you smile and laugh!
