Very Special Day

On Sunday, September 4th, you were baptized at St. Martha's in Kingwood. It was a very special day that all of our families were able to celebrate with you!

The day started with mass at 11:00am. Your Nanis and Pipa went with us and you did great! This was your first outfit of the day. Yes, you had 3!

After getting home from church you had a short nap and we had to wake you up to get you dressed. I wish you could've slept longer, but we didn't time it right.

Such a special moment! You started to cry on the last time that he poured water on your head. Your Tia Tita had your paci ready to go and you calmed right down.



And this is how you spent the rest of the baptism. I had to take the bottle out a couple of times for the other parts and you started to cry each time.

......until you fell asleep. This is the deacon-in-training that taught our baptism class. Of course he and your Daddy talked football! (He's an LSU fan!)

You wore my baptism dress, which was VERY special for me! We both got baptized at 4 months. My aunt gave you the bonnet, which is supposed to be turned into a hankerchef when you get married (way, way, way in the future!)

This is how you really felt the whole day! You did perfect though!

Afterwards we all came back to the house and ate barbecue and cake.
