34 Weeks

Emma you are 34 weeks old!

(on December 21st)

This week:

~I had to tweak your stroller a little bit. Your legs are getting a little longer so you ran out of leg room when the leg rest was up, so we put it down and now you're officially a big girl when you ride in your stroller!

~you officially have a deep belly laugh! I know I said before that you had a belly laugh, but this is a REAL one, and I got it on video!

~you are sleeping unswaddled! (for the 2nd time!) I think it's going to last this time!

~you've been loving mirrors! I could post a ton of pictures of you looking at yourself in the mirror! This is my favorite so far.

~we had a cookie exchange with our Boob Group! That's the name of our Mom's group that originally started out as the Breastfeeding Support Group at the hospital. I'm so glad that we have this group to socialize with!

~you and Daddy have a new trick of giving 5. You don't always do it, but you do it a lot with him.

~you've started actually chewing things with your front teeth. You started with biting off and chewing pieces of your Mum Mums. To give you a visual, you kind of look like a little old lady with no teeth! Too cute!

~you've been loving shaking things. You always have, but lately you try to shake everything that you're holding.

(this is your favorite toy to shake. it's part of an ice cream sundae toy that is so cute!)

~you helped Mommy celebrate her 29th birthday! And what did you get me? You started saying "Mama" specifically for me! Not all the time, but there are plenty of times where you see me and say it or when you want something (like to eat!) You sure know how to make this Mama proud!

~you tried lemon for the first time at my birthday celebration. Everyone had their cameras ready to capture that sour face and...............

NOTHING!

Not a blink. Not a nose scrunch. Not a funny face.

Nothing. We'll try again!

~you partied hard this week! At support group we celebrated all the Lucky Suckers (babies that breastfed for a year) and also had our holiday party.

Daddy was on vacation from school so when we got home from the party we had a photo shoot with Mommy's birthday gift.........a new DSLR camera! (THANK YOU Mom and Dad!)

You were being pretty silly. Just take a look.

~you've been trying to get up on all 4's this week, but for some reason you have a hard time getting your middle section off the ground! :)

You have some good motivation though!

Boomer has slowly but surely come around to accepting that you're here to stay!

~you're just the sweetest thing there ever was!
